Installing flash player on Fedora Linux

First of all you need the RPM adobe-release-i386-1.0-1.noarch.rpm which you can download from:

There you choose version "YUM for Linux", to retrieve the RPM, which allows you to configure the adobe repository on your local machine. Simply by executing:
rpm -ivh adobe-release-i386-1.0-1.noarch.rpm

Then you need to import the key:
rpm –import /etc/pki/rpm-gpg/RPM-GPG-KEY-adobe-linux

The installation of the actual plugin can be started with:
yum install flash-plugin nspluginwrapper libcurl
The nspluginwrapper and the curl library is available in 32 and 64 Bit.

If you have SELinux activated, you should execute the following command:
setsebool -P allow_unconfined_nsplugin_transition=0

Of course all of the above commands require root privileges.

To check if the installation has been successful, you just need to start your firefox and enter the following in the address bar:
about:plugins

The Flash plugin should be listed there.
